I have to admit, I was surprised to find an “Athlete of the Month” certificate in Conor’s folder a week or two ago. He’s never that excited about doing sports — we require him to do one activity a season. And he talks a lot more about art class than PE. My only inkling that he might be good at PE — or at least trying hard — was that his classmates’ “happy birthday letters” to Conor talked about how he is a fast runner in PE.
His chart says that his favorite PE game is battleship and that outside of school, he likes to hug mom. I asked him what else we could put on there… he wrote tenes (tennis).
