Ready and Waiting…

Although we’re still 10 days away from her due date, Jordan and I are ready for our little one’s arrival.
Top 5 reasons why Lentil could come any day
1. Last Wed, I had some contractions, so I thought this would mean labor was around the corner!  However, I think I was just dehydrated and coming off of a busy few days at work. Good thing was that we were at infant CPR class, so we were in the right place!
2. Car seat inspection is done – and thanks to a lot of advice from awesome moms on facebook, we feel comfortable sticking with our Graco Snugride.
3. Nursery is set up – see below for a super cute pic!

Dr. Seuss is fun!

4. Work is in a good place.  Jordan’s big “Billing Day” is the 1st of the month, so he appreciated Lentil not coming too early.  My “maternity leave plan” is 95% complete!
5. I am uncomfortable and increasingly irritable.  Just ask Jordan (who has been really great about dealing with both – and does a fantastic job of helping me tie my boots, which are just too difficult to get on, given my big belly)!
