A Linville through and through

I'm turning on the charm - is it working?

Can you say like father like daughter?

The first picture is Natalie trying on her new sunglasses (thanks, Aunt Jira – you have a  fantastic sense of style!).  The second is Jordan at around 3.5 years old, holding his new baby brother Alex (circa 1984).  As you can plainly see, Natalie has many fabulous traits that take after her dad… adorable smile, sweet and funny personality, great sense of rhythm, just to name a few.  However, there are two that I’m less pleased about (Mammaw, I’m sorry in advance if these are not suitable for blog posting!)  1) Her general state of gasiness (even her nanny commented on it today), and 2) Thinking that passing gas – either through a burp or elsewhere – is funny.  For those that don’t know Jordan’s family well, I will be clear that these are clearly LINVILLE traits – not Stevenson (Nana’s maiden name) traits.  And, sadly, they are proud of both.  I thought that having a girl would save me from some of this – sadly, I was mistaken.
