Lentil got herself a new glider today. Pop and Gigi (aka Bill & Kathy) had said they wanted to buy us a new glider, but this deal was just too good to pass up. $60 for a $350 glider on Craigslist! We are rocking Craigslist (no pun intended). First a crib, then a changing table, and now a glider. So maybe not quite as pricey a gift as expected, but thanks Pop and Gigi!
This weekend, Erin and I went to Madison, WI to see her cousin, Rachel, a senior at UW. Julie, Aunt Lisa, and Brett all came and visited as well, and when you get Julie and Lisa together, you know it’s going to be a fun time (ska “a hoot”).
We took in the gameday sites Sat morning. It’s pretty clear that Wisconsin is a good school to party at, but we resisted challenging any of the youngsters to beer pong. Didn’t want to damage their pride.
Brett and I went into the game, which was against San Jose State. UW beat them pretty soundly, but had some key errors that will cost them against better opponents like OSU.
At Camp Randall Stadium, they use the speakers a lot for popular music. Call me a purist, but I like most the music to be coming from the band. However, between the third and fourth quarters, they crank out the Cypress Hill song “Jump Around” over the speakers, and it is awesome. Here’s a video of the crowd going nuts.
We had our 4th ultrasound today…. Good news is that Lentil’s kidneys are a normal size. Apparently, they were a bit large a month ago, so they wanted to monitor her growth. (Yes, her growth – Lentil’s a girl, which they confirmed again today in the ultrasound.)
She is weighing in at an impressive 1 lb, 11 oz. We had a bet going for how much she would weight – Jordan thought 22 oz, I thought 28 oz. I win – though I’m not sure yet what I won. Probably the right to run the air conditioner in our hot condo. 🙂

Welcome to LinvilleUSA, home of our new blog! This is where you can go for the all the latest happenings of Erin, Jordan, and Lentil (our yet-to-be named baby).
To update you on Lentil, s/he turns 19 weeks old tomorrow! Hooray! That means the little girl/guy is probably almost 6 inches long and weighing in at an impressive 7 oz. They say that the baby responds to “external stimuli,” meaning that someone touches Erin’s stomach, the baby will respond and squirm away. And let me tell ya, people do indeed try to touch Erin’s stomach.
